as a junior, protect yourself from depressed seasoned developers
in many online communities the seasons developers are really cynical about finding a job as a junior. they say that juniors will be replaced by ai, that it is impossible to find a job, that everyone'd better immigrate, and then they throw some terms around that i need to google (that last part i am grateful for). basically, if you are to trust them, there is no point in learning programming, the IT is done, what lies ahead is just financial crisis and misery. do not trust them! what they share is their inner state. perhaps they are scared, or sad, or hopeless - this does not mean that it is the reality! it is similar to listening to some divorced people talking about how marriage is pointless. it is not! protect yourself from their influence, once you surround yourself with people who are bent on convincing everyone on how bad things are, you will slowly be sucked into this. resist!
