awesome food discoveries i made!
sharing cool food things, maybe you could try them, too!
caffeine free coffee. i love drinking coffee, but i hear too much caffeine is bad for the heart or something, so i am drinking caffeine free coffee! it is really delicious, scratches the itch of having a cup of coffee and has no downsides (that i know of)

low acidity foods my dentist has told me that i should eat foods with low acidity, apparently a lot of things i like are high in acidity! this feels like a fun quest. some low-acidity foods are animal products and carbs. i think. high acidity foods are juices, sparkling wine, soda (bye, diet coke, it's been real), adding a vitamin tablet to water, kimchi, fermented vegetables in general... so, pretty much everything that i like lol
but the concept of low acidity foods in general is interesting, i had not thought of that until now.

rutabaga is an amazing vegetable! i had not even heard that word until a couple of days ago, when we made an amazing lasagna, replacing potatoes with it.
we did it on accident, since we got way too much of it. it was supposed to be a tiny addition to the soup, but we ended up with three big heads, so we had to get inventive!

rum i have had my first glass of rum yesterday. it was... interesting. i felt fancy drinking it from a beautiful glass, with some ice in it, i reminded myself of the don draper from "mad men". taste was also interesting. i imagine getting really pretentious about it, going to the restaurant, and asking for the aged rum, or like 8-year rum (or is it just whiskey that is good when it's old)?
also it is low acidity which is my new thing now. and i guess being sugar free-ish...
