live life like it's the sims
when i was a kid, i loved playing the sims! the sims 2 was my favourite, but i liked the sims 3 as well. what i loved the most was building up a family, learning different skills, doing room / house design... all in all, it has felt amazing just to live.
and then it struck me, isn't this what life is? real life, that is? obviously that is a very simple thought, but something about it stuck with me. while reading a boring book, i can imaging me leveling up a skill, instead of thinking how much money house decoration would take, i could get in touch with the joy of it that i had felt via the sims.

i guess the game takes away the sad / bad parts of life (like unstable political situation, discrimination, bullying) and lets you enjoy the good parts with ease. it's nice. i wanna live like it's the sims and enjoy the nice parts of life, instead of zooming in on all the things that could be improved.
p.s. the sims 4 sucks, the sims 2/3 is where it's at!
